Tickle your taste buds with a fascinating cider-centric dinner from France. Premium French ciders from Northwestern France add complexity and subtlety to a range of flavors and dishes not typically associated with American ciders. Chef Bertrand Chemel has paired the food to the ciders instead of pairing the beverage to the food. Expand your palate not to be missed!

You are invited to join the Washington, D.C. Chaîne for our second Société Mondiale education event of 2018 at CHIKO, the brilliant Chinese Korean brainchild of chefs Scott Drewno and Danny Lee. We will enjoy several small bites while sipping and learning about soju infusions, artisanal soju, makgeolli (a unique Korean rice liquor), and compare three Chinese and Korean beers.

Since CHIKO first opened, it has gotten rave reviews as having amazing food in a fast casual setting. Although we have the restaurant to ourselves that afternoon, it is quite small, with limited availability, so do not delay your registration. Please join us for a unique exploration of Asian liquor and a contemporary take on Chinese & Korean small bites.
