Join the Bailliage of Greater Washington, D.C., as we return to the Willard InterContinental for our traditional black-tie holiday gala! This year we celebrate the 59th anniversary of the Bailliage, with Jim Wallick, Bailli Délégué des États-Unis (National Chaîne President), as our inducting officer.
The Willard, one of Washington’s most historic venues, is especially resplendent during the holidays. Our Champagne reception and exquisite multi-course dinner will take place in the elegant Crystal Room. The Induction Ceremony, welcoming new members and promoting officers, will be held in the gracious Peacock Lounge. A Société Mondiale du Vin induction caps the evening.
Our fellow Chaîne members on the Willard’s executive team — Maître Hôtelier Markus Platzer, IHG Area General Manager – Mid-Atlantic and General Manager of the Willard; Maître Restaurateur Julia Rapley, Director of Catering and Event Planning; Maître Rôtisseur Luca de Marchis, Food and Beverage Director; and Maître Rôtisseur Gyo Santa, Executive Chef — are making this a holiday evening to remember and a fitting celebration of another fabulous year for the bailliage.
