Enjoy A Laotian Culinary Adventure With No Passport Required! A relaxed evening of culinary discovery Please join members and friends of the Bailliage of Greater Washington for an informal evening at Eat A Lao, one of Rockville’s most appealing destinations for the vibrant and distinctive flavors of Laos. Rather than a traditional Chaîne event with a fixed menu, this will be a wonderfully simple gathering. Each guest will make a reservation directly with the restaurant, order à la carte from the regular menu, and choose exactly how adventurous—or familiar—an evening they would like to enjoy. Our purpose is simply to introduce members to a delightful restaurant, discover some new flavors, and enjoy the conviviality that is at the heart of La Chaîne. TO JOIN US, YOUR REGISTRATION HAS TWO STEPS: 1) Call Eat A Lao directly (301-909-9181) and make a reservation for 6:30 p.m. on September 3.When making a reservation, be sure to mention that you are part of the group affiliated with Bailli Judy Mazza and La Chaine DC, and then... 2) Please let us know that you made a reservation with the restaurant so we can arrange seating (they want us at tables of 4). You can either email Bailli Judy Mazza directly (Bailli@laChaineDC.com) or register after login through our website. There is no predetermined menu, and you may bring your own wine if you like. Rosselli's is the latest triumph from renowned restaurateur Ashok Bajaj, who has tapped the immensely talented Chef Carlos Cardona to helm the kitchen. While Chef Cardona may be a new face in Washington, he arrives with a spectacular international pedigree, having previously earned an esteemed two Michelin stars during his tenure in Hong Kong.
